Friday, June 25, 1999:
  • The Pensacola Grand Hotel has rooms reserved for Skyhawk Association members.

  • The Skyhawk Association Administration Ashore Suite and Lounge (Rumor Control Central) will be located at the Pensacola Grand Hotel.

  • 1300 Check in at the Skyhawk Retirement Reception Desk at the NAS Pensacola Mustin Beach Officers Club.

  • 1600 Mustin Beach Officers Club Flight Suit Mixer and Alfa Strike / TGIF / first guy to debrief wins an Air Medal get-together and BS party.

  • SUNSET: Mustin Beach Officers Club Patio - - - A-4 Skyhawk fly-by. Bring your camera.


Saturday, June 26, 1999:
  • 0700 (NLT) Shotgun start golf tournament. $25 per person - including kids (includes 18 holes, cart, breakfast and refreshments). To the registration form.

  • 0830 Skyhawk Association Board of Directors Meeting at the Grand Hotel.

  • 0900 - 1400 Open - Skyhawk Retirement Registration Desk at the Mustin Beach Officers Club will have packets for late arrivals.

  • 1230 Everyone is welcome to attend the Skyhawk Association Lunch at the New World Inn (a.k.a. New World Landing) on Palafox, across the street and a little south of TRADERS. The Skyhawk Luncheon is $18.50 (includes tax & tip) per person - all ages. Dress is informal. MAKE RESERVATIONS NOW by sending your $18.50 check, no later than Friday June 11, 1999, to:

  • 1500 Skyhawk Retirement Ceremony in the Blue Angel Atrium at the Naval Aviation Museum. The guest speaker for the Retirement Cermony is Admiral Stan Arthur, United States Navy (Ret). If you plan to come to the Skyhawk Retirement Ceremony but are not attending other retirement functions please RSVP with Cdr. J. Richardson.
    Dress for active duty military attendees: Full dress uniform, large medals and chokers. Civilians coat and tie.

  • 1830 Saturday Evening Retirement Reception at the Naval Aviation Museum. $25.00 per person - kids age ten and under, FREE; age 11 - 20, $15. Includes buffet with heavy hors de oeuvre, canapé and drink, band and dancing. Bon appetit! To the registration form.
    Dress for active duty military attendees: Tropical white uniform. Civilians coat and tie.


Sunday, June 27, 1999
  • 0800 Zero-Dark-Thirty Eye-Openers at the Mustin Beach Officers Club.

  • 0900 Mustin Beach Officers Club Sunday Brunch. $13.00 per person - kids age five and under, FREE; age 6 - 12, $8; age 13 and over, same as adults. To the registration form.
