old friends link up, coordinate with unit reunions, and gather unit
information.

- 1945 post WWII: Naval Advance Unit No.6 established
at Subic Bay.
- 1951: Navy Seabees begin construction of Cubi Point

NAS Cubi Point begins serving as the primary
maintenance, repair and supply center for the 400 carrier based
aircraft of the Seventh Fleet's carrier force during the Vietnam War.
- 1979
Military Bases Agreement of 1947 is amended to
change the status of Cubi Point and other military installations in the
Phillipines.
- 15 JUN 1991
Mount Pinatubu explodes and covers Cubi
Point with volcanic ash.
- 24 NOV 1992
USS Belleau Wood is the last American
War Ship to leave the Naval Base, ending 94 years of military presence
in the Phillipines.
