Sticker
Patch
  • "Dartstaffel 713 Richthofen".
    The A-4N Skyhawks carry this approx. 6" Sticker on the nose-landing-gear-flap. (door)
    . Dartstaffel translating -> Dart-Squadron.
    Richthofen (The Red Baron, you know) is the Tradition-Name of the Jagdgeschwader 71 (71st Fighter Wing) based at Wittmund AB and still fly the F-4F Phantom II.
    The No.713 means, the BAE Skyhawks are part of the Jagdgeschwader 71 Richthofen, the nonofficial 3rd Squadron.
